The second book of mercy Thompson series was overall okay, there was too much small details that I felt it made the book much lesser to read than the first book. Mercy had to deal with vampires throughout the book, figure out a stratgey pan to put an end to the terror. Romance was very small in this one, I felt that there should have been more interactions between mercy and Adam since they are currently dating. Samuel past was opening up but again more details would have been nice. Stefan is a very odd character, he really is quiet most time but mecy seems to know him better than anyone else that knows him. The actions was very miminal, but I think I'll reread this book in the future to get more understanding of this second book.
